GET STARTED WITH DIGITAL PLANNING.

Digital planning can be simple - let me show you how! I’ve put together all the basics in one place to help you get started.

WHAT IS A DIGITAL PLANNER?

A digital planner is a PDF document. Think of it like a paper planner that has been converted into a digital product that you can carry around through your iPad, tablet, phone, or laptop with the use of a PDF annotation app.

Although a digital planner is in a digital PDF format, many are designed to look like a paper planner with tab dividers. They contain something called hyperlinks that connect certain pages in the planner and allow for quick and easy navigation. By clicking on these hyperlinked tabs, the pages “flip” for you, just like a paper planner with dividers would.

You can completely customize your digital planner and make it your own! You can write or type on them, highlight, add digital stickers, add shapes and colors, undo and erase what you did (without the mess!) and so much more.

STEPS TO GET STARTED

It’s as easy as…

STEP 1

You need an iPad or tablet and a stylus. You can essentially use any tablet that has the ability to write or type on, but the iPad and Apple Pencil combination are the most popular. Try out one of my freebie planners to see if your device will work for digital planning.

STEP 2

Next, you need a PDF annotation app that is compatible with your device. These apps are available on your device’s app store. They may be an additional cost to you, but there are some free apps as well. I personally recommend GoodNotes 6 for digital planning.

STEP 3

Lastly, you will need a digital planner. My digital planners are designed with ease of use in mind which makes them great for all levels — even beginners. All my planners come with detailed instructions on how to download and use your planner.
